Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

What has happened to RCI.The service has dropped tremendously. We are diamond plus members and never experienced a cruise like this. First I,ll tell you the good points. Sapphire dining room good as usual,our cabin boy excellent.,,but what has happened to the very well trained and experienced wine waiters, there were none. The wine waiter is now the assistant waiter at the dining table who also works in Windjammers.I do hope that this is just a one off cruise it would be a shame to cut out their expertise...Our asst waiter girl was very nice but like all the others didn't, really understand wines. .

Now for the service in bars.. Our favourite bars are Schooners and Star room. Schooners on several nights we had to wait over fifteen minutes for a drink . It got to a stage where the bar attendents would say who,s next.Now a good barman should never have to say that. They should know. (This has never happened before).The pianist in there is very good and talented hence that is why it was always packed... But the service nil points. Now Starlight room , a quite large room with a good group Horizon, Only two waiters either side of the room,so of course it was manic at the bar, guests had to go to the bar to order drinks,not enough staff, At one point we waited twenty five minutes.. I am wondering if this has turned into a training ship, there certainly is a lot of cutbacks. .....

Most of the ports we visited had only one gangway(never known this before) and the port of Gijong was the worse, it took twenty five minutes to just get off the gangway because of the queue,coming back was worse,had to wait in another long queue for the shuttle bus and eventually when we got back to port, four buses full of guests had to stay put, nobody could get off the buses for a while because the queue was too long to get on the one gangway.. It took us over two hours......it was queueing where ever you went, although they did manage to put two gangways at Vigo port.. Still had to queue.. I hope because of RCI new ship Harmony that all the best of crew members haven,t gone to it. Although I have to say all these facts I still like RCI best of all I only hope they can sort things out because it's such a shame if they have to cut costs... One more thing what's happened to the fresh flowers what greeted you in the cabin..That has stopped too. Please put these things right and put RCI right back up where it shoul be
