Sail Date: Sep 2014

My wife and I sailed on The Breakaway for our honeymoon in September 2014. It was my sixth cruise, and my wife's first. I have sailed three times with Royal Caribbean (Majesty of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, and Explorer of the Seas), and prior to this, two with Norwegian (The legendary S.S. Norway, and Norwegian Gem). This ship while different than the other ones I was on (due to this being a mega ship), was fantastic, and one of the best ships I have ever been on. Here is a brief breakdown:

Embarkation - we arrived around 11:30am and were on the boat in no time after checking in. No complaints at all.

Food and Dining - The food was great, so I'm not sure what people are complaining about in some of these other reviews. My wife and I mostly ate at the free dining rooms, and never had a bad meal. This includes the buffet. The buffet food was great, and we had no complaints at all. The service was fantastic wherever we ate at. We also ate at Le Bistro one night, and again the service and food quality was outstanding.

Cabin Review

Cabin Interior Cabin

The cabin was a little on the small side, but the bathroom was spacious. There weren't any drawers in the room, but there were plenty of shelves, and places to store things.
