Trip Details
  • Sail Date: May 2016
  • Destination: Trans-Ocean
  • Cabin Type: Family Junior Suite with Balcony

Unable to explore Barcelona as one of our cases was missing and didn't know when we would receive it, plus there was a light rain shower.

Embarkation started off as a nightmare as the young girl did not speak good English and I found it hard to understand her, also she told us our room had been moved for no reason so that did not go down well. However RCI gave us a FREE upgrade to a junior Suite maybe because it was our 40th Anniversary (Thank you RCI).

The ship is beautiful but as you would expect of a Brand New Ship fresh and clean with loads of space and plenty of cool areas to sit or go up on deck to one of the four pool areas.

Dining: my time dining was. Not my Forte however we bought the specialty resteraunt package which I think was good value. Jamie Oliver's Fantastic,Wonderland Fantastic, chops Good had better,American Icon ok,Silk not so great.Windjammer great for a quick meal.

Service: overall was good but continually pestered by the writing staff wanting to know if they had achieved that magic 10.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Took us around the historical sights and coastline .very informative and interesting

Petra Walking Tour

Very long Day but new this before we booked. No visible RCI guide on board just the Bus tour guide and tourist police. The tour was amazing and was an easy walk down through the the Gorge to Petra. They provide a horse and two person cart for anyone and the price has to be negotiated for the return journey before you board the cart. Around40$. The walk back uphill in the heat is a killer so take plenty bottled water
