Sailing away from Kotor, Montenegro from our Penthouse Deck

Our fourth cruise overall and our third being with Celebrity. We were very blessed to sail in the Penthouse suite on an M-Class ship (PH being at the back). This was a port-intensive cruise (only 2 sea days out of 10 nights) and we were busy busy busy! Our ports of call included: Koper, Slovenia; Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik, Croatia; Kotor, Montenegro; Naples, Sicily, and Venice, Italy.

On Embarkation Day - all suites guests were invited to a sail-away from the Helipad out of Venice, but we had our own plans and invited new friends to sail-away from our enormous deck - no regrets! it was fabulous. Later that evening, we had the Celebrity Connections (Cruise Critic) Meet & Greet in the Reflections Lounge. It was well received and in good attendance by both Officers and Cruise Critic Guests.

This cruise we went to only one production show and then one smaller show in the Reflections Lounge for two main reasons: A) port intensive cruise with many early mornings and B) we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the Penthouse Suite - that was an experience in its own right.

Penthouse Suite

Cabin PS

Extraordinary! a dream come true to stay in this fabulous cabin. Boasts over 1400 square feet with a brilliant 1,000 sq ft aft balcony (you share the back half of the ship with the other PH). Loads of storage space, so much so - I would put something away and it would take 20 minutes to locate it. The room was stellar and truly a dream to have for 10 nights.

The room has a large living room (dining room table that seats 8), a baby grand piano, large living room, separate Master Bedroom and Bathroom, Vanity Dressing area, a guest toilet/shower, butler’s pantry will full-sized fridge that is stocked to your choosing and is no-charge. Jacuzzi in the Master Bath and Jacuzzi on the Deck. We used both!

Port Reviews

Venice

Venice was a DIY for us - we took our time, walked the streets and just enjoyed this beautiful city on our own.
