Our fourth cruise overall and our third being with Celebrity. We were very blessed to sail in the Penthouse suite on an M-Class ship (PH being at the back). This was a port-intensive cruise (only 2 sea days out of 10 nights) and we were busy busy busy! Our ports of call included: Koper, Slovenia; Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik, Croatia; Kotor, Montenegro; Naples, Sicily, and Venice, Italy. On Embarkation Day - all suites guests were invited to a sail-away from the Helipad out of Venice, but we had our own plans and invited new friends to sail-away from our enormous deck - no regrets! it was fabulous. Later that evening, we had the Celebrity Connections (Cruise Critic) Meet & Greet in the Reflections Lounge. It was well received and in good attendance by both Officers and Cruise Critic Guests. This cruise we went to only one production show and then one smaller show in the Reflections Lounge for two main reasons: A) port intensive cruise with many early mornings and B) we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the Penthouse Suite - that was an experience in its own right. Since we had unlimited specialty dining (as part of the PH perks); we dined in Ocean Liners (2x), Tuscan Grille (2x), and Bistro on Five (1x) for no fee. We also as Suite guests dined in Luminae (3x) and Blu (2x). All restaurants served excellent food. The service in Ocean Liners, Tuscan Grille, and Blu was stellar. We felt that perhaps the staff in Luminae might have been “new” to each other, as they seemed out of sync and did not shine like the other restaurants that we dined at. It was the only restaurant where I had to flag staff down to have a glass of water and a piece of bread (basics of food service). On our first sea day, all of the Royal Suite and Penthouse Suite guests were invited to a private Bridge Tour, followed by a private luncheon in Blu with the Captain and Senior Officers. A very special event which will be remembered. We were also invited one evening to a private dinner with the Guest Relations Manager and the Human Resources Manager. There was one other couple in attendance. We dined in the Wine Cellar of Ocean Liners and had a 5***** star meal. Very special and appreciated. We participated in a Cabin Crawl that was organized on our Roll Call. We had 7 Cabins in total being showcased with approximately 40-50 crawling. The crawl ended in the Penthouse which could house everyone for a short social. The Guest Relations Manager and HR Manager made a special appearance and greeted all the guests of the cabin crawl. How thoughtful of them to take the time out of their day to greet the Cruise Critic Cabin Crawlers! Other than Venice (where we had a pre/post stay), we birded the ports in Slovenia and Zadar, Croatia with private guides. The remaining ports we had small, independent tours organized ranging from 6 to 12 people depending on the port and the activity. These tours were all organized with Cruise Critic guests via the Roll Call. We had amazing guides in all of the ports and had the pleasure of really nice people in all of our groups. Although Split, Croatia had one of the worst weather days (torrential downpour), we had a stellar guide, “Maja Benson”. She made the unbearable weather bearable and we appreciated her smiles and positive enthusiasm throughout the day. I found her on YouTube as the private guide for Rick Steves and she was so brilliant! Her knowledge and passion for Trogir/Split was amazing. Montenegro was one of our favourite ports of call - a truly pristine port that truly transported you back in time. We hired Mladen of M-Tours and he was absolutely fabulous. From Montenegro, we hosted another sail-away party (this time smaller than the first) and we all enjoyed the views as we sailed away from Kotor. A truly scenic entry/exit from this gorgeous small country. Naples was one of our most fun adventures. We organized a “Gastronomic Tour” via Lovely Amalfi Tours and our driver/guide, Giovanni, provided us a tour of a lifetime. Plenty of food and wine throughout the day - not sure how we ate later that night! From the Captain down, the staff of the Constellation were visible, friendly, and approachable. A great testament to Celebrity Cruises and the Constellation - there were plenty of smiles throughout the ship for the duration of the cruise.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite
Cabin PS 6147
Extraordinary! a dream come true to stay in this fabulous cabin. Boasts over 1400 square feet with a brilliant 1,000 sq ft aft balcony (you share the back half of the ship with the other PH). Loads of storage space, so much so - I would put something away and it would take 20 minutes to locate it. The room was stellar and truly a dream to have for 10 nights.

The room has a large living room (dining room table that seats 8), a baby grand piano, large living room, separate Master Bedroom and Bathroom, Vanity Dressing area, a guest toilet/shower, butler’s pantry will full-sized fridge that is stocked to your choosing and is no-charge. Jacuzzi in the Master Bath and Jacuzzi on the Deck. We used both!
Deck 6 Inside Cabins, Outside Cabins, Balcony Cabins, Suite Cabins
