This was my fifth cruise, but my first on a very large ship with more than 4000 passengers. Overall, the cruise met and exceeded all my expectations. One contributing factor was the timing of our trip - we went in early May before schools are out. So there were few children, teenagers or college age partiers.
The ship was recently rehabbed and the facilities are excellent. Our cabin was spacious with a balcony, although the bathroom was a bit cramped - a large person would have trouble in the shower, which felt like a time travel capsule.
We were very impressed with the food and food service. Windjammer Cafe offered an excellent variety of buffet options at all hours. It can get a bit crowded.
Very nice cabin with queen bed and sitting area with couch. Balcony with nice chairs for two. Plenty of drawers, adequate closet space. Suitcases fit under the bed. Bathroom a bit small with "time capsule" shower that could be problematic for a larger person.
A sketchy and unpleasant place. Strictly for those who take a trip to beaches for snorkeling or scuba, or an excursion to relatively distant Mayan ruins.
