Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This is my review of the Ovation of the Seas based on our voyage from Southampton to Singapore in May 2016.

This is a magnificent looking ship, both internal and externally. It bristles with modern engineering, technological and design elements that create a stylish ship that manages to never feel too crowded even though there are over 4,000 guests on board. It is also the most stable ship we have ever been on. Amazingly it took only 10 minutes to board in Southampton due to a new streamlined boarding process.

Let's start with the cabin. Our balcony cabin feels longer and more spacious than recent ships we've been on. There are plenty of storage options too. The bathroom is standard sized, but the shower is large with a clear glass screen instead of a shower curtain that threatens to embrace you.
