My wife and I were really looking forward to this cruise. Ever since our first cruise on Liberty of The Seas, Royal Caribbean has had us hooked! Once we finally booked the cruise, the fact that we were going on an Oasis class ship took a long time to set in. Along with our cruise, we booked a 5 night dining package, premium drink package, and VOOM streaming Internet for one device. Normally we wouldn't buy internet on a cruise but we left our 6 month old at home with his grandma.

Embarkation

I had read about how smooth embarkation is on Oasis and Allure and how huge

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C2

For our room, we booked a Central Parkview balcony room. Upon booking, we had several concerns. One was noise from the pool deck/park below. Noise was not an issue at all. When the balcony do is closed, 90% of the outside noise goes away. The only time you hear much of anything is when the band is playing at the pool on days at sea (which probably means you shouldn't be in your room long anyway), or your balcony door is open. You do hear the simulated noise of birds chirping during the day, and crickets at night. I believe the simulated noises are on a timer and turn off during quiet hours (1am-8am I think). There was plenty of space to store everything we brought. We packed 4 suitcases (I know it's a lot :/ ) and were able to fit all of them under the bed once we unpacked. The bathroom is small as expected in a standard stateroom.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Incredible experience! We would definitely do it again!

Nassau

Too many salespeople when you get off of the ship. Dirty beaches unless you make your way over to Paradise Island.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Not much to say about Ft. Lauderdale or Ft. Laudidadi as I call it lol. It's a beautiful port. We saw sharks in the turning basin.
