Cabin: Boardwalk View Stateroom with Balcony

We chose this cruise because of the ship. Living in Southwest Florida takes away from the ports (we are used to palm trees, etc.) That being said, seeing the mountains of Labadee, Haiti and Falmouth, Jamaica were stunning!! Plus the ship itself was really a sight to behold. We already are thinking about another cruise on Allure just to see the parts of the ship we missed!!

While the food overall was good, We experienced an amazing evening at 150 Central park (awesome!!!) and yet another one at the Chef's table. Amazing food both evenings. And the wine pairings with both dinners was superb.

The entertainment was top notch. I am no musical buff at all, but i have to admit I did enjoy Mama Mia. Blue Planet and the show at the Aqua Theater were also incredible.

Boardwalk View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin B2

Beautiful cabin and well appointed. Showers are larger than on explorer of the seas (no offense to explorer - i may have been a bit larger then - so it might not be the shower size at all). Incredible view of the aqua theater and the boardwalk.

I would choose an ocean view balcony on future cruises only for privacy issues but there really want an issue with that and noise was never an issue at all.

Port Reviews

Falmouth

Story of the year. my wife and I head out of the shopping area and into Falmouth proper where the locals are. We are being "tormented" by merchants offering hair braiding, t-shirts, Red Stripe Beer and an item that is less than legal in the U.S. (unless you live in Colorado - no judgments - just sayin') when I hear a lady cry out my last name. Not exactly a name that would pass for Jamaican. I look over and see a co-worker of mine who is visiting home (yes, she is Jamaican and from Falmouth) Bizarre!!!!
