Splendour of the Seas Cruise Review by pedigray
- Sail Date: May 2015
- Destination: Western Mediterranean
- Cabin Type: Interior Stateroom
rather severe no brought on board alcohol, one bottle per person would have been nice for sundowner drink rather than fairly costly bar prices. Port process excellent, food excellent.
Only negative was plate piling other guests who seemed to believe each meal was going to be their last for a week!
Would like to see better fitness centre and steam sauna facilities single sex but that is a minor criticism.
The ship was well maintained and the cabin service excellent and unobtrusive.
It was our first experience of royal caribbean, having previously done a NZ origin P&O cruise which was no where near the same standard.
We look forward to our next cruise from UK P&O which we understand to be of a much higher standard than the NZ option carrying ( and damaging) their name.
Recommend the Med trip to fellow kiwis as a great way of covering many cities in a relaxed mode.
