We picked this cruise because of past experience with Viking and an email with a good offer at a time we were thinking about going on another vacation. This trip was 10 days total.

We're glad we went east to west on this trip. The infrastructure and prosperity increased as we traveled. Budapest was our favorite city.

We had custom air which allowed us to pick a decent travel schedule from our hard to travel from airport. When we arrived in Bucharest they were not expecting us. The local information had us arriving on a nonexistent flight. The local greeters did not bother to check for our correct information. Fortunately we got through customs and immigration rapidly and found a Viking group that was getting ready to depart for the hotel. This was the first Viking trip where we had to carry our luggage to the bus and then to our room. All the other transfer were fine. Read more
