Our Paris to Normandy cruise was a five star experience from meeting us at the airport to getting us into the correct line upon departure. We had excellent food ,good wine, and a caring crew. The shore excursions were well planned and interesting and geared to the activity level of the individual. Local guides had a good grasp of the history of the area involved and their English was outstanding. The cruise manager went above and beyond what was expected,seeing that everything went smoothly and that no detail was overlooked. Particularly outstanding was the all day trip to the Normandy beaches of D-Day and the emotional tribute to our servicemen at the American Cemetery We opted for a French balcony cabin, The storage space was adequate and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was nice with a good shower. Overall, the entire experience was wonderful. I have taken five river cruises prior to this one, and now I cannot imagine ever cruising with any other river cruise company.
