We chose this cruise because we were traveling with our kids and their small children and we were concerned about flying with them. Cape Liberty was the closest port near our homes in Pa.
We all had mixed feelings about this cruise. Loved the fact that it went to Boston as well as Bermuda. Lots of activities at both destinations. We enjoyed the beach and aquarium in Bermuda and took the trolley tour in Boston. We got off of the trolley and walked around Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall our old stomping grounds from years ago.
Traffic at the pier is a nightmare! They gave us a check-in time of 11:00 am. Along with everyone else. They really need to add a separate road for the ship's employees who were also trying to nudge their way into traffic. I realize that they are not responsible for torn-up roads around the terminal but this is the third time that we've sailed out of this port and have never run into this kind of gridlock. I don't know if I like the new check-in procedure or if I prefer standing in line. There seemed to be a lot more glitches with the laptops and the check-in people had to keep asking for help. I really did not like the fact that our unsecured Seapass cards were outside of our rooms and not handed to us at the port.
beautiful, comfortable room. great cabin attendant--obstructed view.
