1st transatlantic. very relaxing . very smooth seas. older crowd. very friendly. Ship was well maintained and well laid out. I believe the ship sailed more than 1500 passengers short of capacity. Our balcony cabin was functional with a comfortable bed but the cabin and balcony were smaller than average. Cabin steward was very efficient. Casino was empty-- no players.
Ate in special restaurants every night-- wonderful, especially Cagney's and Le Bistro. Buffet for breakfast was very good. Last production show was one of the best I have ever seen at sea. Friendly crew. used the spa - a nice , quiet retreat but could use more of the heated lounges.
Drinks and internet were rather expensive. getting on and off the ship was not a problem. There is no self-service laundry on board which would be useful on a 16 night cruise. Fill a bag laundry service was good at $20/bag. Overall a very good cruise.
comfortable, functional. plenty of storage. comfortable bed. quiet. able to block out all light.
took the free shuttle all the way to Coral Gables. A bit boring on the way back.
