We have traveled with Viking on two other river cruises and were greatly pleased with the ports, tours, and attention of the staff to keep us informed and address any questions. The ship (being new) was in excellent condition, as the other ships we have occupied. Our cabin, while not large, was clean and comfortable. The lounge provided a pleasant area to relax, read and enjoy the scenery as we traveled. The dining was quite good, as was the staff who waited on our table. The opportunity to choose from dining areas other than the dining room was appreciated. It was pleasant to find that staff members would acknowledge us by name and show an appropriate level of personal interest. We have, and will continue to recommend Viking as an excellent way to not only see various cities in Europe, but also gain a better understanding of their history and significance. We look forward to traveling with Viking in the future.
