The staff was the greatest. They would answer any request with 'of course'. Whatever you wanted was delivered. Every effort was made to guarantee your trip was perfect.
The food was unique to the region but you could order other items if you wanted 'regular' food.
The wine flowed like water.
There was an elevator from the dining room to the lounge.
If the water level was not right you might not sail to one destination but they did provide a bus. The level of the river is out of their control. If we could not sail to the next port we did cruise on the river so you felt you were on a ship and not a waterfront hotel.
The cabins are small but you don't spend much time in them. There are plenty of public areas to sit and enjoy the cruise.
I have given up sea cruises in favor of river cruises. The ships are smaller and you have more personal service.
The cabin is small. They are for sleeping and changing cloths. There is plenty of space for your cloths. The bathroom is regular size for a ship. Plenty of hot water and space in the shower.
