This is our 5th river cruise with Viking.

Captain Marcel Stephan is clearly a great leader and inspired his staff to deliver friendly and attentive service. We could sense the camaraderie amongst the staff and everybody seemed happy to be there and taking care of the passengers. Captain Stephan was constantly in attendance at all events, at each port, Viking presentations, even helping his crew unload luggage.

The longship was new and well-designed. Each of the ports was beautiful and interesting. The local tour guides were knowledgeable and articulate, with a good sense of humour. The weather was exceptional, warm and most times sunny. Read more
