On Catalina Island we rented a golf cart which is $40 + $40 deposit. If you do this you must have cash. $40 is for the first hour and anytime over that will be prorated with the 3rd hour free. It will take you almost an hour to tour the island with a few minimal stops, and I mean minimal, snap and go. Was it worth it, yes.

We took the La Bufadora tour that Carnival offers, $28 pp.  I do recommend this tour because it is imformative with a tour guide.  When you reach your destination, it's like a flea market, many aggressive vendors, didn't eat or buy anything.  We didn't see many children this day.

We did walk around the town of Ensenada.  If you've ever been to San Francisco Chinatown it's kinda the same but much more aggressive and with many more bars!

We walked back to the ship which isn't very far.  Be careful crossing the street getting back to the ship.

If you are used to taking nice vacations with comfy beds and good food, don't do this cruise, you'll be disappointed.Found a good deal on Vacations to go and decided to give it a try.
