The cruise lived up to the description in the literature we received. Service on board was excellent as was the food. The excursions were quite good and two of the excursions were excellent. In particular we enjoyed motoring across the Gulf of Arcachon, seeing and learning about oyster farming and harvesting, sampling local oysters, and finally having an excellent lunch at a local restaurant. The restroom equated bus transportation was always first class. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and very informative.

The Viking Forseti is a lovely ship and our cabin was well appointed. Our cabin was always clean and we were quite comfortable. The staff were helpful, polite, and able to provide us with whatever we needed, From the moment we arrived at Bordeaux airport until we were guided through the airport for the flight home we were well taken care of. we were sad when we had to leave and vowed to take another Viking cruise next year.
