This tour was one of the first to Eastern bloc countries and was incredibly interesting - part of the world we had never been to. The tour director was very helpful and had great suggestions. We especially enjoyed Michal - our tour director for the land based extension into Poland. He couldn't do enough for us! All of the local tour guides were wonderful - really knowledgeable and interesting. English skills were very good.

Food on the ship was terrific (as always), portions were good and wait staff very attentive. Our cabin steward also did a great job and was very flexible with our comings-and-goings.

There is no exercise equipment on such a small river ship, but then, I don't know where you would put it! We tried to walk laps on the topmost deck. Read more
