Several friends had taken European cruises and lived them, so since I wanted to do China decided on the Viking trip. It hit the must sees like the Great Wall and Terracotta Soldiers and included lots of other sites. I also like that the cruise was only for 5 days, so you got to see city life, rural life and river life. Because I did not speak Chinese nor do I read it, thought a fully escorted trip was the only way to go.
The staff on the ship were very friendly and helpful.
One of the best things was my tour escort Michael. His English was excellent and his knowledge of everything was amazing.
A/C was awful and it was way too hot in the room, even at night. It was even hot outside, so opening the doors to the balcony did not help. What's the point of a thermostat if it does not work.
