For our first trip abroad, we wanted a guided tour that was relaxing but where we would still be able to visit parts of France and Germany. Seeing Switzerland was a bonus. With all the excellent meals on board, and transportation provided, this trip was bargain for us.

The staff and service on board catered to your every whim. The tours are adapted to seniors and there was enough free time and tips to make every excursion enjoyable. The only disappointment was the rainy weather, as we would have loved to enjoy the sun deck more.

Viking greeted us with hot towels and warm drinks upon our return to the ship to make up for this. It was exciting to find out what gourmet meal the chef had made for us each day. Everything was first class! We do plan to travel again with Vikng to see more sites. This is the only way to travel!
