Background - We are a married couple, ages 51 and 53. This is our 5th cruise and first on Celebrity.

Embarkation - we rented a car in Tampa and drove to FLL Sunday morning. Found out the shuttles don't start running to the port until 11, so we had to wait about 45 mins at the airport. Once at the port, we found the procedure to be pretty good, we were on board before noon. Trying to find a table to eat lunch at was nearly impossible, I agree with most people that they don't have enough seating in the Oceanview. It was the same thing every meal we had there, unless you eat very early or very late, it is really difficult to get a seat.

Room - we had a sunset verandah which connected to the one next to ours. Our friends were next to us, so we were able to close the main door and open our cabin doors to go between cabins. At night we just shut those doors for privacy. We also opened the balcony divider which was also nice to have the connecting balconies. The room itself was fine, I liked the big interactive TV and we had no problem with storage. We had the room steward unlock the mini bar and we used it for a fridge for our wine. Speaking of wine, I had no problem bringing aboard 2 magnums of wine in carry on and a 3L box of wine and 2 fifths of vodka in my checked luggage. Cocktail hour every night on the balcony!
