We Had an amazing trip aboard the Carnival Dream. There were ups and downs, and good and bad points but overall we cant really complain about anything.

Embarkation: we purchased the faster to the fun package, personally we thought it wasn't worth the money. it sells you on the fact that you can get on and off at your own convenience, and that there is no waiting. Well we showed up to our arrival time of 10AM and weren't allowed on the ship until sometime after 12. granted we did have our room available right away rather than others who had to wait until 1:30 to get their rooms ready. other than this we had no issues with embarkation.

Sea Days: overall we were underwhelmed with the sea days because of alack of relevant things to do for people of our age(I'm 27, my wife 32.) We found the production shows to but corny and overrated. we spent most nights at the comedy clubs which was much better than the production shows. Casino was nice and the operators were very wiling to help you learn the games. We opted for your time dining, which is a much better choice than a timed dining scenario. there are events planned throughout the day that you might want to go to, but if you have a set dining time you can miss them. the most praise we can give is for our wait staff team. Udaya, Komang, and John; they were by far the highlight of our evenings, always smiling and talkative. ask for them!!! Udaya the headwaiter, convinced us to go parasailing and it was amazing!! All th bars were great with mostly good wait staff, if you want a drink on the decks you need to get up and go get it rather than wait, because there can be a quite lengthy timeframe sometimes.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8G

Cabin was nice, Our stateroom steward was amazing. If we called, he would give us a timeframe and it would be less time than what he said every time! We wont sail without a balcony anymore, its worth the extra 200 dollars, we would have breakfast out there, relax at night, watch our ship come to port.

Port Reviews

New Orleans

City is dirty, and had an odor. People are nice and helpful. Bourbon St is fun if you're safe about it!

Key West

The island itself was mediocre, Pepe's was amazing!!

Nassau

Cheaper to book with on land excursions, same company that does carnival's parasailing is out of the port to the right walking towards senor frog's.
