Sail Date: May 2016
Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony

Sailed out of Barcelona for 12 nights. This is my sixth or seventh time on the Jade but never submitted a review before. Having found other reviews of great use when planning a trip I finally thought I should try and help others.

Embarkation at Barcelona was fast and smooth. Straight to Blue Lagoon (open 24 hours) thereby missing the crowds in the buffet.

The Jade is an old ship by cruising standards but still in very good shape and kept very clean by the hardworking crew. We had a mid-ship balcony cabin on deck 10 which is our preferred location as it is convenient for everything and you don't have to walk from one end of the ship to the other to get anywhere. These staterooms are fine for 2 people but I wouldn't recommend them for more than 2 unless you are travelling with small children.
