My husband and I booked a Vista Suite (C751) facing the aft. We had moments of enjoyment on the ship, but I will never cruise with Princess again and would advise others to do the same.

About 3 days prior to embarkation, we pre-paid for a water package ($24) that included 12 bottles of water. We paid for 4 of these packages to be delivered to our room so we would be set with water for the duration of the cruise. When we arrived and called room service, they said they didn't have the voucher from the corporate office yet and it could be up to 4 days before they do. We were obviously upset and were not going to wait 4 days, so we ordered 6 bottles of water (they charged us!) to hold us over until then. We finally got our water package 2 days into the cruise.

We were 4 days into our cruise when the Captain announced that the NoroVirus had broken out in the ship. They went into clean mode (which they should have been all along) and were disinfecting everything on the ship. We even had to remove everything from our bathrooms for a sanitize day while we were in port. We packed all of our bathroom belongings in a bag and I left a bar of used soap on the bathtub as well as a used bar of soap on the sink, just to see if this would be thrown away and a new one replaced during their cleaning effort. When we returned, it looked like nothing was done to our bathroom, same used soaps still there as we left it. We ended up buying Lysol wipes from Walmart in Hilo and carried it with us where ever we went in the ship and cleaned our own areas. We didn't get sick, thank goodness, but I think it's because we kept our area clean - not them!

Cabin Review

Vista Suite with Balcony

Cabin S6

This Cabin is in the Aft so you can see the wake of the ship which we really enjoyed. Beware that the balcony does have an obstructed view due to 2 beams that go through the ship. The sliding door in the bedroom area is pretty much not usable and 90% obstructed. We used the living room sliding door. There are 2 loungers and a table with 2 chairs. The other Vista Suites have a table with 4 chairs but this one can barely fit 2. We didn't use the table at all since it was in the corner and hard to get in and out of the chairs with the limited space around it.
