We chose this cruise due to the itinerary, the time of year, the excellent value offered by a repositioning cruise and our precious experience traveling with Oceania on both the Riviera and the Regatta. Note that we disembarked in Barcelona.

This was our 6th cruise with Oceania and we probably enjoyed it more than any previous one. Food and service was excellent, as we have come to expect. We especially like the Red Ginger and Jacques restaurants, although the evening buffet is always quite good when you prefer something more casual. The cruise director on this cruise, Dottie, is definitely one of our favorites. The evening entertainment, lectures and other activities kept us busy, even on the many sea days, and we enjoyed all of the shore excursions we took as well.

We travel by ourselves and especially like the fact that Oceania's typical cruisers are at or near retirement age, like us, and there are generally few children on board.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin B1

Our cabin was excellent, with a very comfortable bed, and plenty of room for clothing storage. The bathroom was good-sized, well-appointed and everything functioned perfectly. We especially appreciate having so many US-style electric outlets, as we normally bring only one converter with us. Our room steward and his assistant were both friendly and professional, and kept our room in excellent shape with a constant supply of fresh towels and ice at minimal inconvenience to us.
