Before you go: Make your dinner and show reservations as early as possible, up to ninety days in advance. We had gotten the “free” specialty restaurant package; when I tried to make dinner reservations for 5:30 there were none available for Cagney's or Le Bistro for anytime during the week. I reserved 5:30 at Savor and Taste for the week. Traded the restaurant package for the 250 minute internet package.
The “free” drink package comes with a $99 per person charge to cover the gratuity. Beer was about $8, mixed drinks about $10. Do your own math.
Driving to the pier and parking: We had studied map to the pier garage, located at terminal C. Enroute, saw the sign that said “Port Tunnel-open”. Took a chance and ended up right on the island road to the garage and terminal. Dropped our tagged bags in front of the terminal, Thanks Big John! The Port authority website said the garage was cash only-incorrect. Get your ticket going in as usual for any parking garage. When the ship returns, pay via credit card or cash at the automatic kiosk by the elevators or in front of the building. If the machine balks, or the automatic gate doesn't let you out, (which happened to us), the manned booth can help you.
The mini suite was more than adequate. Shower was good sized. Plenty of room for storage
