16th cruise, and 6th crossing, so chosen mostly for convenience/price, but it was so nice that now I would seek this ship out for future cruises. Absolutely the CLEANEST ship I have ever been on, and others felt the same way. There are crew everywhere, wiping, dusting, shining. People can be messy, but this crew keeps up with them. Even glass-walled elevators somehow were wiped and never smeary.

Special stars to Juliana Bravo, Paul Williams, and Marvin Spencer in the Schooner Bar who provided flawless, friendly service, even when things got crowded. Many non-drinkers spent time in the Schooner Bar because it was such a friendly place and many trivia contests were held there.

We dined in the Windjammer for every meal, initially because some people douse themselves with perfume and it ruins the taste of food. I want the aroma of the fine food the chefs have prepared, not be forced to smell someone's strong perfume from two tables away. The Windjammer environment was remarkably friendly and the food was terrific, so we continued to dine there. This is not reflection on the main dining room, where, I was told, the service was terrific. Chefs answered questions about the excellent food they have prepared, and they have every reason to be proud. The waitstaff were everywhere offering beverages and removing used plates. Again, crew wiping, cleaning, washing. There were multiple choices of fish or meats and vegetables, 3 soups, fruits and prepared desserts. Meat or fish pies showed up from time to time, with wonderful, flaky crusts. I don't know how they do it, but I'm happy they did. Somebody on that ship is a superb baker, and even those of us avoiding carbs were sampling the many varieties of breads.

Once I mark that I did not take a tour, it makes no sense to require a review.

Who programmed this questionnaire? Once I mark "NO", the computer should not require a review. It even says above that this review is optional, and then it says,"This field is required".
