Inaugural cruise of Sirena and we sailed on Marina last year. The service on arrival was excellent although it was obvious much needed to be finished, they were still painting sections when we left 14 dats later. Our bed head arrived after day three. Of more concern was the sewerage system which failed on and off throughout the voyage. These were minor difficulties though and even though we were in the cheapest and smallest cabin on Sirena it did not in any way impinge on what was a wonderful cruise, the second best we have had after Marina.

Our last trip was on Explorer of the seas in January and the difference was chalk and cheese. 4,000 passengers and queuing up for everything versus 690 passengers and no queues . Very average food and five star plus on Sirena, the best cruise food we have ever experienced. Grilled lobster tails every night and no extra for speciality restaurants. Delightful. Our next cruise will be with Oceania again out of Australia now they are doing more from there.

We really enjoyed the ports, most of which we haven't seen before. Best excursion was canoeing down the rapids with Dalmatia Adventures (booked through Oceania) out of Split. A lifetime dream fulfilled and another adventure off the bucket list. We finished in Venice, our second visit and a tip. Get your museum tickets at the tourist info at the far left corner of St Matks Square. One ticket gets you entry to four museums, better than $19 euros each. Oh and finally, Oceania gifted passengers a silver tray as a memento of our wonderful trip.

Cabin E

Fair value. Disappointed with shower, very small and shower curtain only but did not detract from overall experience. Be aware that this category of cabin has a light on outside at night. No big deal but curtains need to be shut.

Venice

Walked on our own, an adventure in itself as it rained and we took wrong turns but fun.
