Excellent cruise. Having never been on a river cruise, but been on many ocean cruises I was unprepared for the excellent service given us by Alex the head waiter all the rest of the staff.

Also, while there was little activity on the ship, there was comfortable lounge to meet other travelers and daily jaunts ashore to keep you busy. Food was good, service was great, room was comfortable (while a little small) and kept quite clean and serviced. While the guests were wonderful, if you are young you might find them a little on the senior side (average age was about 65).

Viking certainly tries (and does a great job) to keep their guests happy!! We had a veranda room, but the balcony rooms sported a very small balcony. We loved our veranda as we could open the sliding door and feel like we were outside while sitting on the bed!
