Trip Details
  • Sail Date: Jan 2016
  • Destination: the Southern Caribbean
  • Cabin Type: Interior

We had been on the Breeze before and loved her so we decided to sail her once again but we went with a different itinerary. The Southern Caribbean itinerary was absolutely beautiful!

The Breeze is great! We love the size of the ship and all of the activities offered. The food is always great and we love the options at any time of day. From Guys Burgers and Blue Iguana, to late night Pizza or room service. We always find something delicious to eat.

During the day we love to lay out and soak up the sun and while certain areas can get a bit crowded we always find somewhere to lay. We always participate in trivia, scavenger hunts, and some sports related activities to have fun and try to win a Ship on a Stick! At night we enjoy the late dining so we can relax and freshen up after we return from port. After dinner we always attended a comedy show and then we hit the casino to try our luck!

All of the ports we visited were beautiful! Grand Turk is always our favorite. We head right over to Jack's Shack for an afternoon of fun in the sun! Topher is the main attraction and he never disappoints!

We had the best time in La Romana on a shore excursion with Seavis Tours. They were so kind and the excursion was one of the best we had ever done.

Aruba and Curacao were beautiful. We enjoyed both of these ports by walking around and doing some shopping. In Aruba we did take a taxi to Palm Beach where we laid out and walked to a few of the bars. The vibe of the Palm Beach area was very fun and touristy. We had a blast.

Cabin Review

Cabin 4C 2316

We have always stayed in an interior cabin because we don't see the point in spending more on a room that we are hardly ever in. The rooms have enough space and the beds are comfy. That is all we really need in a stateroom!

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

We had a great time in Miami. We stayed at the Intercontinental which was absolutely beautiful! We walked to Bayfront Marketplace each night for dinner on the water and to do some shopping.

The hotel was right next to Bayfront Park so we saw a lot of cool events going on!

Grand Turk

Grand Turk is always one of our favorites! Head on down to Jack's Shack and enjoy a relaxing day of fun in the sun!

Saona Island

This was the best shore excursion we have ever taken.

We took a speed boat ride to Saona Island (with one short stop on the way). Once we arrived at Saona Island we enjoyed a beautiful beach day. Lunch and drinks were included. After a couple hours we got back on the boats and headed to La Piscina Natural where we got off the boats again to look for Starfish. This is a natural sandbar in the middle of the ocean and it was absolutely beautiful! The crew passed out more drinks and snacks while were there.

Aruba was beautiful. We walked around and shopped for a bit before taking a taxi to Palm Beach. Palm Beach is the tourist hot spot. We laid on the beach and visited a few bars. We walked by so many beautiful hotels and ended up gambling for a bit in one of the casinos.

We spent most of our time at Rif Fort. We did walk across the Queen Emma Bridge which is a must! The colorful buildings are so beautiful and overall we had a great time in Curacao.
