I have been to Hawaii numerous times. We were going with relatives who had never been to Hawaii, thus a cruise seemed a perfect way for them to see several islands in one week. Princess and HAL lEaVe only from the mainland with far too many sea days (for me). NCL does this same inter island cruise all year.

I set me expectations a little on the low side as i had read reviews saying the "American" service was not as good as on other ships utilizing a primarily international crew. The crew, in fact, was mixed and not all American. The ship was on par with all others I have been on. Stateroom was fine and included a coffee maker (nice extra!). I would rate the food in the dining rooms a tad below Princess and HAL, I would consider NCL again for a future cruise. I generally choose a ship more based on the itinerary I am looking for.

I would recommend this particular cruise as a nice way to visit Hawaii with perhaps a few extra days spent before or after. Embarkation was not great, probably waited 30 minutes in line- could be improved.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Was fine. Typical size, did have a small sofa. Two chairs , table and footrest on balcony. Coffee maker in room -excellent! Good closet and quite ample storage. Nice baskets in closet and lots of shelving in room.
