Odd to think that I was on the same ship as some of the other reviewers! My wife and I were very happy with our cabin. Clean, comfortable- and it was an inside cabin to boot. We ate in the Versailles every night and never had to wait since we always made a reservation. The buffet restaurant did look like a cafeteria- that's what it was! But we found the food to be good and varied and the facility to be clean.

Didn't take any of the ship sponsored tours because they are always overpriced. We had a great time going on our own. Not one person pressured us to buy anything the entire trip. Everybody I talked to paid a low-ball fare as is usually the case on a trans-atlantic crossing. Even if we had paid full fare, we would have been more than satisfied with the cruise as a whole. It was comparable to the crossing last spring on the Epic from Miami to Barcelona but with a different vibe as the Star is half the size.Looking forward to doing it again next year.
