The best part of this cruise was embarkation. It was an absolute snap. We were on board, to our cabin and and then to International Cafe eating lunch in less than an hour. Our suitcases were in our room by the time we finished lunch.
And it was downhill from there. Our cabin was one of the smaller ones we have ever had. The bathroom absolutely the smallest. The toilet was scratched "raw" of its enamel around the water line from repeated scrubbing. I also saw that in several public toilets too. Really- time to replace them, Princess.
Our cabin steward was great. Waiters in the dining room and buffet were also very good. We did find that many other staff members were not as friendly as we would have expected. Some were off-putting.
I really don't know what category our cabin was. It was on the 14th floor and right below either the pool or buffet dining room. Some mornings I could hear chairs getting shuffled about for a minute. But I was already awake. The bed was comfortable. The room was too cold. We felt like we were in a deep freezer all week long. I always hesitate to complain about the temperature because it might turn out to be too hot then.
