Always fascinated by the Alaska scenery and untouched areas. As latitude platinum members, we were able to pre-board and disembark with priority. Seattle terminal is not an especially user friendly port to sail from. Small in ability to take on 2700 guests - compared to east coast areas such as Miami or Fort Lauderdale.
Overall, we had a very nice, relaxing cruise - first night out of Seattle was rough seas - heading due north can be a troublesome wind - be prepared for a rocky night. Our room was a penthouse suite - with thre of us, wife and a female friend, it was large enough for us to have our our space. There is one large double bed, then a pull-out, separated by a curtain. Our balcony oversaw the front of the ship, just below the viewing deck.
Our butler, Ronald, and our housekeeper Housemang, were outstanding. They cater to any and all of your needs. We have breakfast delivered to our room most days. The butler also brought trays of fruit and small sandwiches to our room in the afternoon.
We spent three nights in Seattle prior to cruise - plenty of things to do and sights to see. Stayed at the Renaaissance hotel - God location for walking to local attractions
Very interesting
This was the best value exclusion of the trip
Nice waterfront area to walk from ship - downtown area - many nice shops -
Lots of fun. $35 for a 10 minute ride -
