We chose this cruise for the Transatlantic crossing. However they cancelled two of the advertised destinations. Ship was renamed Thomson Nightmare by a lot of customers. Food in the self service was poor, like school dinners and the only thing you could guarantee would be hot was Soup and Porridge. The Orion Waiter Service restauarant was excellent, hot food, and brilliant waiters. The entertainment in the Broadway show lounge was very good. Service in all the bars was extremely slow. We had the drinks passage but right from day one, we were convi nced that the drinks were either watered down or they were using cheap brands. This was confirmed when a fellow passe nger witnessed a waiter pouring cheap vodka into a Smirnoff bottle, the same with gin and brandy. One night we had 7 Black Russian cocktails each and were not the slightest bit tipsy Soft drinks from the bar dispenser were poured into Scweppes, Sprite and Coca Cola bottles. This was reported. We were told that the John Smiths bitter had run out, but if you were paying for your drinks they managed to find some. On the return flight from Majorca back to Manchester, we were delayed because some seats had been double booked. Some passengers were flown to Gatwick and then had to go by coach up to Manchester. We have emailed Thomson with our complaint - their reply was - 'Sorry you were disappointed by the food I n your hotel a nd then they went on to say you should fill in the questionnaire given to you on the plane. I think this proves that they do not take complaints seriously. They don't give them out on the plane anymore, you are supposed to get one by email, we had 2 Thomson holidays last year and never got a questionnaire.

We chose an Inside cabin to keep the cost down. When you are out of your cabin most of the day, why do you need a window. Kept spotlessly clean by Jaime our steward
