This was our fourth cruise with celebrity. For the most part, the cruise was off to a rough start in the service area. Embarkation was a breeze, our room wasn't ready, no big deal and understood, so we went exploring. Up to the top deck for a cocktail. Two cocktails were, $22.00. We had a nice lunch and rooms were ready. Our room on the 7th deck was very nice and clean and just next to the new feature, the Hideaway. Three weeks prior to sailing I had ordered an anniversary bottle of wine to have for getting"underway" no wine in room, so I called room service and was told they were all too busy now and we would "get it later. ". We went for a walk and when we returned to our room, here was the wine sitting on magazine, but no ice bucket or glasses. When we notified our room steward, he in formed us we " needed" to order it as it doesn't come with the room anymore.
Strike one. Because of my husband being deaf, I requested a table for four at the time of booking 8 months prior. We were seated in the main dining room at a table for six, it happened on the previous cruise only a table for 10. So why ask?
So basically, we were left out of most of the conversations.
Cabin very clean, small but adequate. Bed very comfortable, deck larger than average on starboard side.once the ice bucket "challenge " was solved, we had ice replenished every day and evening. Stewards were polite and efficient.
Took our own walkabout.
Loved this lovely port city. You must have a Sangria...yummmmmy
We visited with an old friend who drove down for them days!
