Short break.

As expected, crew was friendly and efficient. Use of passenger name in conversation is a nice touch that pervades interactions.

The refresher intent of the cruise was marred by unsupervised children in the Lido dining areas, running the corridors and stairs. Additionally, the location of this cabin adjacent to one with a double plus bunk layout that makes children next door an inevitability. This has implications for the use of the balcony as a restful spot. Normal, active kids generate noise. The outside aluminium furniture on the balcony deck are impossible to move without a fair bit of clanking.

Great view. Comfortable. Well equipped.

However, definitely in need of rejuvenation. Stained carpet, cupboard doors that would not stay shut (and internal lighting that stayed on thru the night) chipped and stained basin, warm (not hot) showers. On all 3 of my Carnival Spirit cruises, the lock and handle of the balcony door has been broken.
