We chose the Carnival Sensation because the dates worked with our work schedule and the fact that the ship was going to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and it also included Nassau as a port of call.

From the minute we set foot on the ship we had a great time! The ship staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had purchased Faster to the Fun and were first in line at the excursion desk to select our Half Moon Cay Cabana, after that we drop off our bags in a balcony room (E91) and then hit the Lido Deck for lunch around 11.30am. We spent the rest of the day exploring the ship. Other have commented that this ship is dated and a rust bucket, well, let me tell you I was very impressed with how the ship looked, how clean it was and it is not a rust bucket imho!

The food was wonderful (I lost 15lbs when I went to Cuba, gained 1 pound when I went to Jamaica and gained 12lbs on this cruise! The drinks were affordable without having to purchase the cheers program. Both my wife and I are light drinkers.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

The cabin was spacious and we really liked the balcony to sit on early in the morning and have coffee and at night to have a drink and watch the sunset.

Port Reviews

Miami

We enjoyed out time in Miami. Stayed at the Port of Miami Holiday Inn the night before the cruise and spent some time in south beach
