I learned to be loyal to Carnival Cruise lines! On this ship there were only two pools which could only accommodate about 50 people per pool and the first two days the right pool was closed, then both pools were closed for a time then the right opened and the left pool was closed for the remainder of the trip. It was July on the ocean near Florida! You need a pool to cool off in that heat!!

Then my son is walking down the corridor with his hand on the railing and the whole railing fell off! We paid for the soda program where you get a cup for like, I think it was $30 each and fill it with soda throughout the trip. The soda machine was either empty or out of order for most of the trip so I paid $60 (my son and I each got the soda deal) for about 5 16 oz sodas! That is ridiculous!

And then the cabin...GAWD the cabin! It was so small that only 1 person could stand in the room at a time and there was nowhere to store the luggage so it was piled on our beds during the day and piled in the middle of the tiny walkway when we slept. That made for a fun "bathroom in the middle of the night" experience! On our last cruise with Carnival I booked the very smallest cabin on the whole ship for my mother and son and it was large enough that my mom could get around the room in her wheelchair and not get stuck anywhere, plenty of room for their luggage and storage/closet space.

Interior Stateroom

I don't know what the letters next to Interior Stateroom above are supposed to mean but we were in an Interior Stateroom. Crazy small and dark. I hated being in there because it was so dark and depressing. Only 1 person could walk in the room at a time and no storage space for luggage. Stupid small! I can't believe they even made a room that small and advertised it for 4 people (which is how many we had in there), I can't imagine it would've been better with just 2 people since the beds are stacked. It was just crazy small like a broom closet they decided to throw 2 bunk beds in. We even had to put the ladder for the beds in the closet after they got into the top bunk because it took up the whole floor (yes, that's how small the floor space was!)

Port Reviews

Nassau

Kind of boring. Walked through the lobby at Atlantis, went to the beach, took a bus tour around the island which included stopping at a liquor store (????).

Key West

Definitely a port for adults. Alcohol everywhere and nothing for kids to do. Went back to the ship way early and just hung out.
