We have sailed with NCL quite often. We really like there dining options. We arrived at the port about 11.30 and was on board by 12ish.The ship was big and full, but we never felt it was crowded. We purchased the dining package and we went toThe Bistro ,Cagneys and Ocean Blue all were really good we also went to the main dining rooms and they were good too.
We did not do any excursions with NCL as we like to do ourselves. At Port Canavrel we went to coco beach. Never got to Stirrup Cay as sea was to rough. Nassau we just walked around the town as we have been there before. As we usually eat around 7 30 we never made it to any shows. There was always entartainment going on all around the ship. Our fellow passengers were mostly Americans who were a really friendly bunch. On the second night we met a couple who had just got engaged on the ship so Alexis & Ryan hope all your dreams come true.
Disembarkation was a slow but think we went at the wrong time.Would we go on Breakaway again YES as we always got good service every where on the ship and all staff were pleasant at all times. As we travelled from Scotland we had a over night stay in Conrad Hotel It was lovely just round corner from Ground zero and freedom towers which we visited the morning we came off ship.As we had visited New York two times before we felt that we did not have to do anything else so I was back to airport for our flight after lunchtime
Our cabin steward was Roderick and he kept our cabin clean being on 8th deck we were central to all amenities
Did not do anything as we have been before we had a walk round town just to get off boat for a while but would have given this a miss
Lovely beach but just like many we have been to
