The Legend is a great cruise with a great itinerary. The Port of Tampa is easy easy. The Holiday Inn Express Rocky Point will pick you up at the airport, drive you to their hotel, drive you to the port the next day, pick you up at the end of the cruise and drive you to the airport for around 100-150 a night (depending on time of year). There is a "party" restaurant next door (Bahamas Breeze) that is so much fun and the food is delicious. The embarkment is very easy..went to port around 11am had a drink in hand on board within 45 minutes. There were eleven of us in the group ranging in age between 26-51 (hubby and I are 40ish). Our extended balcony rooms were awesome, we all sat together at dinner. Again the Legend has wonderful food (best of any cruise I have taken 8 cruises total). The service, food, amenities are great on the Legend. I love to gamble and the casino is spacious and fun. Here is what our group did in each port:

On board, we mostly hung out in the casino, karaoke bar, or the lounges.

The best experience on board is the Supper Club...A MUST...worth every penny...do not hesitate.

Carnival has awesome cabins...so much storage and the extended balconies are great (portside).
