Loved it all. Great crew, great food and great ports. Even though we had to change ships. because of a problem with a river lock, the transition was done seamlessly. Viking does a great job with the things it can control and it does an amazing job controlling issues that are out of its control. The guides that Viking hires are well informed and do a commendable job explaining all the interesting highpoints in each city i..e. museums, buildings, churches, etc. They also touch upon historical and political facts in each location.

The cabin was smaller than we expected compared to the cabin we had on the Viking Russian cruise last year, however it had all the amenities that we needed. Our cabin attendant was available night and day and he did an excellent job always with a smile on his face. As far as the entertainment both on the ship and off -- we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the talent. Another thing of note is that when you are in your cabin, it seems almost soundproof.

Each planned meal has a variety of choices from foods of the area to a more standard selection. We can honestly say we have never had a bad meal on board and the incredible staff constantly caters to all your needs. The free beer, local wines and soda are a definite plus. The desserts are amazing and the extras on the buffet table make each meal a wonderful dining experience.
