We just finished a wonderful back to back with the LOTS from Royal Carribean. We went with some friends we met on a previous cruise and had a blast. I can honestly say, I have no favourit ship, I think every ship we have sailed is splendid in it's own way. This was our 10th cruise we did with RC (yes we are loyal to Royal). They really do everything to make it worth your while. Restaurants are all very nice. We prefer the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch but like to eat in de main dining room for dinner. We also tried Sabor for the first time. The food is délice but I still prefer Giovanni's table (personal preference). I have a hard time understanding people who complain about the food on board...there's something for everyone, the menu changes every day and if you want to try something new, they bring you the whole plate.

Actvities are fun, loads of trivia (we won loads of them), they need to spice it up a bit though. The same trivia's are circulating on several ships and we know most of the answers by heart now. Especially for music trivia a change is needed. Its' always the same categories...but it's still fun to win. Got some really good prizes on this cruise.

Also with the morning show on TV, they have the Question of the day. The prizes you could win on this cruise were really great! It was like the drink of the day or a discount in the Logo-shops. Before you won some pens or highlighters, but this is more fun.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

We hade a stateroom with a view on the Promenade, so I'm not sure if this is the right category I chose. We always try to book an interior room as we only use the room for sleeping, showering and changing clothes. If a bigger one (like the last one) is available at (about) the same price, we go for that of course.

You can put your bags underneath the bed, some of the cupboards are not that usefull and you can only put small items in them (I would have designed this in another way to make the space even more usefull). This is a minor critique though. We still like the rooms very much.

Port Reviews

Galveston

Check in was awesome but the town itself is like nearly dead...nothing to see, nothing to do.

Cozumel

We went to Senor Panchoz Beach. If you go right, you have to pay a fee and get to use all the facilities at the beach. Left is free, so we did that. Chairs and seats are free to use, bar has delicious cocktails. If you have snorkel gear, take it with you, you can see some nice fish when you swim around (strong current that day so be careful)
