We had one of our best holidays ever on this ship. It had just come out of dry dock so all of the restaurants, public areas, cabins etc. were all new so it really looked lovely. We got an upgrade to a balcony cabin, perhaps because our cabin was not finished but we did not complain. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. When the bar on level 9 closed, the bar staff from 10 would come down every 10 mins or so to see if we wanted drinks, without being asked. The food was excellent with so much choice of where and what to eat and I really liked the informal dining, eat and sit where you want. The laundry was free to use and very well used, only problem was that the new machines had driers on top and to high to be able to get your washing out of, hopefully they will do something to help with that, a stool was all that was required. Loved the 'voice from the bridge' every day just after 12pm giving us all the info of longitude, latitude etc. I found the Captain really friendly and he was often to be seen around the ship talking to people and was really friendly to his staff as well. when we arrived in ports, he was often around to talk to people. the best night of all was the 'White Night'. The crew had obviously spent a lot of time getting all of the tables out of the 9th floor restaurant and they were beautifully spaced out on deck 10 and 11. The evening was one of the best with all the entertainment and wonderful Indian food to go with it. so much time and effort was put into the evening as was the whole cruise. Well done to all the crew of the Azamera Quest, we shall most certainly be back and thank you all for such wonderful memories of a wonderful holiday, could not have been better.
