We were celebrating our 36th anniversary and had heard great things about the Princess Cruise Line. We were newbies on cruising and asked our friends for recommendations we could afford. Hands down they suggested Princess. We didn't have the cute towel animals but we didn't care. We were going to use them so it didn't matter to us.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. They made our anniversary very special. We went to Alaska and did splurge for a room with a balcony and it was worth it!

The food was excellent and they gave you enough information to choose excursions. It was great being a newbie and having that help. Our room steward was very attentive.
