We had a 1A balcony cabin on Deck 8 midships that represented good value. The cruise included interesting stops such as Lisbon and L'harve. The ship was clean and modern, and had very good service. Both the daytime lectures and evening shows were great. That part would rate a 5.

Embarkation was good. The UK immigration check (on board) had insufficient inspectors. people waited 60-90 minutes in line.

A minor downside was the speed and cost of internet service on the ship. Last year on another Celebrity TA cruse it cost $0.79/minute and was slow. This year they increased the theoretic speed, but also increased the cost to $0.99/minute. I think that so many people bought internet packages and were running high BW services like Skype that the speed for causal users such as ourselves actually dropped, One day, after 17 minutes (about $17) to do some of my emails, I just gave up.

Port Reviews

Lisbon

A 3 1/2 - 4 hour walking tour of the city. You pay the guide what you think its worth. Very good insights into the culture, history and current issues.

Vigo

Interesting City to walk around.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Easy access to ship. In the past we have had long delays in getting off the ship here due to an inadequate number of US inspectors.
