An average cruise; I am glad it was only 3 nights.

Sail Date: Apr 2016
Traveled with children

I had read a lot of bad reviews on this ship and nearly cancelled. In short, would I sail on it again ? more than likely yes, but not for any more than the 3 nights we did. It was a relatively cheap weekend but I would not pick P&O out of choice. I have sailed on other Lines including carnival, RCCL and Star Cruises, this been my 6th cruise. On other lines you definitely get more value for money, better service and it includes all the kids activities. I could not believe that P&O wanted money for everything you wanted to do. You cant even go on the bow without paying for the "Titanic experience $44) as they class this as a high risk area. Royal Caribbean always have their bows open provided the weathers good. It was a nice little 3 day break, but any longer and it would have become annoying.

Food -

After reading all the reviews the food seemed to be a big problem and it seems to have been fixed. All the food at the Pantry was hot and tasted ok, The area was clean and well presented. The food at the Water front restaurant was also good and was well presented, however the staff are really not that helpful.

Cabin Review

Cabin ie

Not a bad cabin, clean large shower, fridge and safe. Right at the front so you get the movement of the swells, also in heavy seas there is huge bangs through the night, probably hull smashing into the water or equipment banging around. Don't think about sleeping in on shore leave days, Powering up of hydraulic winches is noisy and when they let go the anchor (if they are tendering to shore) the clatter of the chain and the vibration through your floor will wake you up.
