Trip Details
  • Sail Date: Mar 2016
  • Destination: the South Pacific
  • Cabin Type: Deluxe Veranda 1B

Embarkation was a dream, the huge crowd had diminished by the time we arrived and check in was smooth quick and easy, we didn't even need to line up.

We boarded and would highly recommend booking your speciality restaurants first thing, we purchased the package of three and booked on the first day.

Headed back up to our stateroom and our bags had been delivered to our room already, we took the opportunity to unpack and change and then headed off to explore the ship.

The Molecular bar was my favourite bar on the ship! fresh fruit and juices mixed into a delightful alcohol filled cocktail, they were amazing! The staff at this bar are also a delight and amazing at what they do, would highly recommend.

The martini bar was also great, ship is very clean and hand sanitisation is every where you go which is great.

Main dining room was lovely but wait staff was different every time we dined, our favourite dining experience was The Tuscan Grille the food was out of this world and the staff were awesome! wish we had of eaten here earlier and we would have gone more then once.

Entertainment was geared more towards the older age demographic aboard, sea days we found boring with not enough activities we enjoyed on offer.

Extra little touches like cold towels on port days when boarding were lovely.

Overall experience was great but thought the age demographic was a little older than we would have liked

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

Had lunch at City Extra and a wander around the beautiful Circular quay, an opportunity to take photos of the ship and the beautiful opera house and harbour bridge

Took a fast ride on board a boat to Duck island was great although overcast and rainy

Bus ride around Noumea sight seeing stopped at lemon beach for lunch and checked out the local McDonalds packed full of young locals with its very own security guard!

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

Amazing Blue green waters and soft fine sands, swam and relaxed on the beach all day, favourite island and port, could have stayed here for days

Very humid and hot, bus was not air conditioned so trip to markets was sticky and hot, but very interesting sightseeing, and the fijian people are so friendly and lovely - went shopping in the city when back BEWARE pedlars selling their wares, they will swindle you into buying their wares by striking up a conversation and carving your name into a piece of wood and then you feel like you have to buy

Fiji Natural Thermal Mud Pool

Not what I was expecting sightseeing on the bus trip was good and the massage at the end of the mud bath was great, but wouldn't go again
