This was about my 10th cruise, but over a 25+ year period. So, while I am not a novice, I'm also not a regular cruiser. This was also my 3rd or 4th cruise on Royal Caribbean. With me was my girlfriend, who was on her first cruise. I chose this cruise based on price, timeframe and I wanted a 4 night cruise on a medium-large ship. It wasn't until a few weeks before our cruise that I learned this ship was in Dry Dock the weeks prior to our cruise and this would be the first cruise after a number of changes.

So what did I think:

Crowds: Absolutely none. By far this was the best part of the cruise. Was the ship full? Yes it was. But somehow, I always felt relaxed and never felt like I was on a cattle drive.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

I love this port for arrivals. We flew in the morning of our cruise. From time we picke dup our luggage until we were waiting to board the ship was less than 1/2 hour.

Going home we rented a car from budget. We had a late flight,s o spent the day at the beach and Dave & Busters

Key West

The drivers know their stuff

Nassau

I'm not a big fan of Nassau. I should have done an excursion to paradise island or a resort day pass. However, I had the tableside prepared conch salad at Senor Frogs which was an experience.
